Review: Dr. Kenney Vu is the best psychiatrist I've ever had so far, very professional and very efficient communicator and listener. The treatment he prescribed has improved my life drastically. If you're on the fence about seeking help, don't think twice about it like Shia Labeouf told us, just DO IT!!! You never know if it might just help.Overall the entire place is great, only thing I can critique is the email response times may take pretty long and the responses from the medical assistant office are sometimes short with me it seems. A little thoughtfulness and compassion in the emails go a long way.I was also told one of my prior authorizations was approved which I found out it wasn't when trying to fill rx and the pharmacist told me my insurance still doesn't cover the medication that I was told was already approved.Corinne is great with dealing with my pharmacy and getting PA's submitted in a timely manner. I just wish I was treated with a little more respect by receiving more polite and thoughtful responses. Especially when I am always polite. After all this is mental health care. I can't help but sense a form of passive-aggression at times during our correspondences, as if there is some frustration when I try to get my medications filled bycontacting the office a little more than usual solely due to arbitrary delays, pharmacy discrepancies, or long wait times between responses from the office, and our last phone call I felt a bit patronized.I understand things are busy and I'm not the only patient, but Its difficult to refrain from contacting your provider with a sense of urgency when you go through a week lapse in medication for example. If I was on benzodiazepines I could become severely injured from withdrawals if these situations aren't treated with a higher priority. And it takes FOREVER sometimes for someone to answer the phone, sometimes I have to call like 4-5 times, other than that NVMH takes care of me. Dr. Vu saved my life and you will be taken care of đź‘Ś, Thanks for reading.Shoutout to Dr. KVU!

Review: My daughter’s been a patient here for 2 years. After Dr.Pham left, they can not keep a consistent provider in pediatrics - so she was being asked to see someone new nearly every appointment. Not good for her comfort or medication management… I told them if they scheduled her with anyone other than her regular provider we would not be keeping the appointments and then they tried to charge me no show fee. I spoke will billing regarding this after they absolutely harass me via phone/mail and I requested to speak to an office administrator about it. They never contacted me but billing continues to harass me for the “no show” fees after I told them we did not consent to appointments with random providers.

Review: Nevada Mental Health is to health care what a ghost kitchen is to take out. The practice is entirely virtual and so the provider isn't in the office. Information about prescription, scheduling, billing, referrals etc has to he sent by the provider to the office to be handled. If not nothing happens. My provider left the practice and so neither my rx nor my follow up were scheduled and no one knows what to do when I call the office. Meanwhile my rx has lapsed and I can't get it refilled. The providers have good reputations but the lack of coordination makes this a very difficult practice to work with. I'd advice people referred here by their pcp to ask if they can be referred elsewhere, because if you're needing mental or behavioral care, you really don't want the stress or hassle of dealing with this practice.

Review: Dr. Tina Goodson does evaluations through a remote online face to face link. She’s amazing! She listens to concerns and we don’t feel rushed. She answered all our questions. Our last doctor rushed us so badly each time for years; “it was always “How’s your meds? Here’s a refill, what credit card are we using?” Not with doctor Goodson. So glad we switched to NV Mental Health!

Review: Since my psychiatrist switched to this company for communications it's been almost impossible to contact my doctor, as you have to go through these people instead of contacting directly like before, and I've been without my medications for almost a month now. I just want the meds that I need. I love my psychiatrist but am considering finding a new one because of how stressful this transition has been with this new company and trying to make contact through them.
